And after two weeks, my latest:Comment: I was standing on that cliff-side at about a 30 degree angle, maybe 2 feet or so from the cliff edge and a balmy 4 story drop onto the rocks below. I had to press against the top of the tripod to make sure it didn't fall over. So how did I make sure I didn't fall over? Four words: bent knees and prayer. I corrected the horizon a little, since (obviously) my cam wasn't totally level. After having had another lovely El Torito lunch with Ma, I'm greatly looking forward to seeing GE and J tonight for sushi in Long Beach. That'll be happening circa 8pm. Not sure what to do afterwards. They might have something planned and/or be up for doing something..or, since I am in the area and all, I could just go to the Rocky Horror Picture Show down at the Art Theatre. Been awhile since I've had the pleasure of screaming obscenities at a 30+ year old film. It'll be one of those play-it-by-ear nights, I think. |
