Letter to Michael Moore (in re: to my last post) 2002-10-26 - 2:02 a.m. I recently saw your latest documentary, 'Bowling for Columbine.' While the pervasive problem of fear in North America had crossed my mind, your film articulated this unique problem in a way that made it concrete. I found myself questioning why, as a White American living in a middle-class suburb, I was afraid that every driver passing by me had a gun. If even for a short while, I begin to wonder why I hold these beliefs and what to do about them. I hope that others watch this film and come to a similar state of clarity. Thank you and best wishes to your continued work. Sincerely, [my name]------ --- Like I said before, typical American with 20 minutes of clarity...but I really tried making the best of it.
