At 4am I will wake up, dress, smile at my mother and then drive with her to the airport.At 4am I will be half-conscious and tongue my 3 shot toffee nut latte, like dewy skin caught in the rain. I will finally see Wisconsin again for the first time, and Madison, and my future graduate school advisor--the next four years suggested in two days. My personal preview aired before the superbowl. A trip and another chapter...and it all begins at 4am. I wonder if they still have bratwursts there. |
