Dr. C's machine accidentally opened my first draft. Silly error, but he could have looked at the document name before sending me an e-mail.I got a reply back about the latest draft. Much better, but he was concerned about factual errors, how it's critical to be detail-oriented in science, etc. The trouble is, he's the one that included the factual error. I didn't know what to think, so I kept it in. And I got about two and a half paragraphs of criticism for it. Next time I'm expecting something else to go wrong. In fact, I just typed out something erroneous to him that I hadn't meant to, then made a correction in the email where I sent my 3rd draft to him. I shouldn't do shit like this before I eat. God what a fantastically shitty day it already is. I want this thing to be over so I can focus on the manuscript again. |
