Getting stuff done; chem test was decent 2002-04-24 - 4:31 p.m. 
The chemistry test wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be (few things are ever that traumatizing), but I took alot more time than usual because of one problem. Still, I think I did well.So, things I've done today: *Finished Chem. lab write-up *Emailed all job prospects to beg for more time *Emailed a prof. who despises me and one who sortof knows me if they could write a recommendation letter. *Spoke with Bio. prof. and got last test raised from pitiful to decent pointage. *Spoke with my academic advisor, Dr. Fortinbras, about all the recommendations I need. We were confused for a short bit, but then things got smoothed out quickly. *Confirmed doing research tomorrow *Worked on biology presentation and adjoining paper And it's before dinner. I'm right proud of myself, I am. Almost a day worth celebrating...but I need to work on that Bio. presentation later in an hour. We're doing a combination of Monty Python (I, of course, being a John Cleese interview character), The Weakest Link and a bad B movie. Having to present on one of the most cannabalistic crustaceans known to man helps with the laugh factor. My partner has a deranged looking sock puppet. It will be weird. I haven't eaten today, yet I am coherent. Weeeeeeeeeeee. That was fun. Time to do something else productive. |
