I stood in the fog

I stood in the fog,

Not moisturized,

Bonsai old with water.


Lachyrmose Opaque,

Thissle fingers up,

Drunk winds below.


Nothing ahead to view,

All is sensation,

Nothing behind to grip.


Night-owl hedgerow man,

Near the earth,

Leaves as days leave.


Night is a memory,

A good mother,

Veiled yet there.


The echoes of plants,

Velvet sand,

Below in the winds.
