For all of my single friends: if you're ever at a party, function, get-together, etc. and a parent, older stranger or even a well-meaning friend brings up marriage and pushes you on its virtues, give them a copy of this article. In essence, how you felt emotionally before marriage is where you'll quite likely be during it.For me this finding illustrates that I dictate my perception and happiness, rather than an advertiser, a friend or even a spouse. And who doesn't want to see well-meaning old farts gape in astonishment? |
