The poster is dead and done (revised) 2003-11-03 - 7:27 p.m. 
14 hours driving to the lab, finishing a poster as per Dr. Ziv's exact (and shifting) requirements, and finally getting out...only to go back because I thought the symmetry from all the asymmetrical poster sections might be slightly off. I fixed it.There's a whole new set of projects in the lab, a brave new world based on a graduate student who wants to collaborate with us. We don't have the money, the facilities...but this does give us an opportunity to write more grants..and with more grants comes a higher chance for me to get paid. The exam is coming up. I'm about where I should be in terms of studying. The poster was a major pain in the ass to complete, but I got word that it looks 'fine' today and that it's printed..so all is well with the world. I figure I can't always live up to Dr. Zivago's expectations, so I should stop worrying about pleasing him. I won't. I just need to keep going with it all. |
