Shadows passing in the night.She was a junior, doing an incredibly long paper about madonna and her attempt to subvert the male "phallic" pop genre. I wrote about samurai committing seppuku and Bushido. We chatted, we laughed, she gave me vitamin C to help me stay awake. She stayed until 4:30, wrapping up her paper with a smile. She wished me luck. Ah sweet Erika, another early morning, one-time relation. She passes off into the obscured mists of a nightly Avalon, soft blush caressing the horizon, reminding me to haul my ass to bed pronto. Shadows passing by me with a smile and her laugh. |
